It's time to shout out and scream about poor customer service. Also it is a perfect chance to give a thumbs up to those that get it right.
Brits are good at moaning and complaining but don't seem to really call for change. I have decided to push forward a campaign to hold those companies to account and maybe shame them into changing their thinking.
I don't envisage that this is not a mean task. Having dealt with the two major telephone providers in this Country it soon became clear that they really didn't care. With profits in the multi millions what do they care if one customer votes with their feet. Even if you do the others don't care too much either.
Thinking bank to when the Consumer Action Group (http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/) started and was telling people how to reclaim their bank charges it seemed the banks held all the cards. After years of action they has been a real difference and this is purely down to the mass of the people involved.
Name Them
Add to this blog and detail your experience of poor or good service. It is not intended to be a chance to just have a dig at companies because you have a grip. Please give details of the problem. I will add some of my most recent ones.
Website
If there are sufficient entries I will consider creating a website where people can look up a company, add to or counter someones entry.
It is not only about customer service it is also about getting employees and management to take notice of the impression people have of their business.
